Is pigeon poop harmful to humans?

Breathing dust or water small drops containing contaminated bird droppings can lead to several sicknesses, including a flu-like illness called psittacosis. Food poisoning - a bacterial infection that can cause diarrhoea - may also be present in some bird droppings.

Can psittacosis in birds be cured?

Psittacosis is a kind of lung contamination brought about by the bacterium Chlamydia psittaci. Chlamydia psittaci is regularly conveyed by birds of the parrot family including budgerigars, lovebirds and parakeets. This infection can be promptly treated with anti-toxins.

Features:
Multivet provides a balance of nutrients essential for the general health of birds, particularly those fed on seed diets. The amino acids in Multivet are essential for the normal and healthy development of feathers. Vitamins and proteinate minerals are included to ensure absorption in the gut. Multivet is best used daily in young birds up to and during their first molt, then every second day afterward as an ongoing dietary supplement.

Directions of use:
Multivet will supply seed-eating birds with the majority of their dietary needs, although a good source of calcium, such as Calcivet or D Nutrical, should also be supplied to birds, particularly during breeding.
