Features:
Corise Diarest O2 Suspension is a combination of Ofloxacin, Metronidazole, and Simethicone for control as a support in the treatment of diarrhea in dogs and cats. A combination of these drugs shows higher efficacy, broad-spectrum antimicrobial action, least incidence of side effects and both are well tolerated. Ofloxacin stops DNA replication copy or multiplication within the bacteria preventing bacteria from reproduction.
It is a broad spectrum of efficacy against gram (+) and gram (-) aerobic and anaerobic (not needing oxygen) bacteria. Metronidazole is a nitroimidazole with superior efficacy and a longer duration of action. It kills susceptible microorganisms by interfering with DNA functioning. Simethicone is used to treat the symptoms of too much stomach acid such as stomach upset, heartburn, and acid indigestion.
It is also used to relieve symptoms of extra gas such as noisily expelling air from the stomach, swelling, and feelings of discomfort in the stomach. Simethicone helps break up gas bubbles in the gut.
