What if puppy eats calcium bone without chew directly?
Every once in a while puppies swallow something they should not such as balls, chicken bones or stones.

Some objects may be smaller which passes easily through their system without causing any problems, but larger objects may get stuck and your dog could get seriously ill.

Prevention is always the best medicine. We all are human beings and we make mistakes. Try to find out how your dog ate chicken bones and use preventive measures to avoid trouble or injury in future.

Chicken bones can splinter and puncture internal organs, it doesn't mean that they will damage internal organs every time.

If your dog has already eaten the bones, ask your veterinarian about signs and symptoms of internal bleeding or blockages.

If you see your dog is tired and sick, constipated, or blood is coming out through stool, vomiting, swelling in the abdomen, and is not eating anything or is feeling uncomfortable, you take him to the vet clinic right away.

If a dog swallowed something signs to look out for include:
•    Loss of or reduced appetite.
•    Vomiting.
•    Absence of faeces or diarrhea.
•    Not having enough water.
•    Abdominals' discomfort such as hesitation to move and crying out.

It is not possible to stop dogs from putting things in their mouth. Try to keep such things away from them and keep an eye on what they are chewing.

Avoid keeping too many dogs toy lying around, keep kids toys out of reach. Do not play with your dog using small balls or any other small things that could be swallowed.

Some bones get crumble when chewed, others break or crack. Never give them hard bones with sharp edges, it can damage your dog's digestive system.

Some bones are dense, others are hollows and less in weight. Some contain nutrients rich marrow at the center, other marrow is flatter, in thinner pockets. Some bones have no marrow at all.

A couple of factors that decide how well your dog digest a given bone:
The size of the bone
The type of bone
The size and health of your dog.
The condition of your dog's teeth, his habit and desire to chew food.

Some of the chewable treats and toys you can think about include:
Bully Sticks - It is made from real beef, most of the dogs love bully sticks.

Durable Toys - Dog likes to chew does not mean you will have to let him eat anything. Most dogs love to chew toys creating noise as they are a bone.

Treat-Dispensing Toys - Treat dispensing toys are coated with treats or with flavored paste that not gives your dog something to chew, but also give him delicious rewards.
